Grades K-2 Teacher
Deborah Wasmer grew up with the passion of teaching and often “taught“ stuffed animals, foster siblings, neighbors, and sisters in her home state of Colorado. Deborah received her BS in Elementary Education from Walla Walla College in 1981 and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Andrews University in 1990. Her teaching career started in Indiana. She taught and principled 12 years in one room schools in Indiana and Massachusetts. She has spent all of her career in multi grade classrooms and loves the value of multi grade environments. She has been married to Paul for 42 blessed years and together they have one adult son. They enjoy traveling and ministering together. Her person mission statement is “Create an environment of love, acceptance, and encouragement.” Her daily goal is for her students to see Jesus and know Him as their personal Savior. She is delighted to be teaching at Harrisburg Adventist School!
